Other power and self-power.

Although all things are nurtured by the “unifying power of others” – from birth and growth, to life itself, the sun, the moon, the wind, and the rain – nothing can be done freely.

Even though it is said that food, clothing and shelter are important, this is entirely dependent on others.

Think about it carefully. Humans would not be able to eat, wear clothes, or live unless they borrowed all the things that were created by the power of others.

It should be important to think deeply about and express gratitude to others on Labor Thanksgiving Day, but people are so stupid that they don’t even realize this and are less intelligent than cats or dogs.

It is through the power of others that we can, at any time, enter a heavenly world where fighting is unnecessary.

Each of you should strive to make the most of your abilities within the limits of what has already been given to you by heaven, or in fact what you have borrowed from God.

This temporary power to improve is called self-power.

Make the most of the limited abilities you have been given.

This is the basis for progress.
